The game was back-and-forth early on with seven ties and the final coming at 8-8. From there, Yeshiva got hot and rattled off three straight points to lead 11-8. Eventually a
Caitlin Vernon service ace knotted the score for the ninth time, at 14-14. Later, with the set tied at 21-21, the Maccabees scored three points in a row to come within one point of the set. Lehman used two kills from Francesca Acevedo and an attack error of a

Lehman scored four points to open the second set. Acevedo got two kills in that stretch. The lead grew to double-digits when a
Samantha Delgado service ace made the score 19-9. Lehman closed out the set with four straight points. The final point was on a Sepulveda ace as the Lightning took set two, 25-12.
Set three was even early. Lehman slowly crept ahead, eventually going up, 15-10 when an Acevedo serve led to a bad set by Yeshiva. Later, a
Christina Lopez ace made the score 18-12. After that, a Sepulveda kill gave Lehman its largest lead of the set, nine points, when her attack made the score 21-12. They took the set 25-21.
Delgado posted a match-best 21 digs and three aces. Acevedo led everyone with ten kills. Sepulveda had 16 digs.
