Farmingdale, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match to Farmingdale State, 8-1, on Thursday in a match played on Long Island.  The team dropped all three doubles matches, but claimed a victory in singles play.
 
The number one flight at singles, Lizaveta Markouskaya dominated her match at singles, winning 6-1and 6-1.  Celine Figueroa won four games in the second set of her singles match.  Jihane Bahbaz took four games in set one of her match.
 
The Lehman College women's tennis team is now 1-4 on the season.  They return to action on Saturday, September 23 when they host Bard at noon.
