Riverdale, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped matches to FDU-Florham and the College of Mount Saint Vincent by identical, 3-0 scores, in a tri-match played at Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday.  The team fell to 2-13 overall with the pair of defeats.
 
Lehman dropped the opening match to the Devils, 25-11, 25-6 and 25-11. Caitlin Vernon posted a match-best 11 digs and led the Lightning with seven kills.  Samantha Delgado totaled eight assists.
 
Lehman fell to the host, Dolphins, 25-10, 25-22 and 25-16 in their match.  Vernon once again led Lehman in kills (eight) and added seven digs.  Christine Tran led the Lightning with eight digs.
 
The Lehman College women's volleyball team returns to action on Tuesday, October 3, when they host the College of Saint Elizabeth.  The action gets underway at 7PM.
