Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming & diving teams lost both ends of a CUNYAC dual match to Baruch College from the Apex Aquatic Center in the Bronx on Thursday. The women fell to the Bearcats, 120-79, while the men went down, 126-87.
The women had several wins for Lehman.
Hillary Frank accumulated 1136.35 points to win the one-meter diving competition.
Christina Hitchman prevailed in the 100 breast with a winning time of 1:34.52. Finally the pairing of
Katia Galindo,
Sheila Davila,
Caroline Layme and
Genesis Ramos clocked a 2:29.64 to come in first in the women's 200 relay.
For the men,
Christopher Fischer won the 200 free with a time of 1:56.48.
Adam Acevedo took first in the 100 fly with a winning time of 55.79.
Anton Kyrylenko won the 100 breast with a time of 1:06.04, nearly four seconds ahead of the second-place finisher. Finally the combination of

The Lehman College men's swimming team dropped to 3-4 overall and 1-2 in conference play. The women are 2-6 overall and 0-4 in CUNYAC competition. The two teams return to the pool on Saturday, January 13, when they face William Paterson at 1PM in New Jersey,
