Women’s Soccer Drops 4-0 Decision At Western Connecticut

Box Score Danbury, Conn.  – The Lehman College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to hosts Western Connecticut State in a non-conference encounter on Sunday at Westside Athletic Complex.  The Lightning fall to 6-4-1 on the year, while the Colonials improve to 10-6 ledger.

Forward Kaleigh Panek scored twice, while defender Jasmine Grey and midfielder Aileen Maloney added one each for Western Connecticut, which extended its winning streak to eight overall games.

The Colonials outshot the Lightning 24-4, with Lehman's goalkeeper Rebecca Gritz making a season-high 14 saves in the loss.

The Lightning return to CUNYAC action on Wednesday when they travel to take on Brooklyn College Bulldogs at 6 pm.
