Annandale-On-Hudson, N.Y. - For the fifth time this season the Lightning women's dropped a 5-4 decision, today falling to Bard.
The Lightning won singles matches at the fourth, fifth and sixth spot as Diwa Rana (#4) prevailed 6-0, 6-2, Joanna Rosario (#5) won 6-2, 4-6 10-8 and Yohara Molineros (#6) blanked her opponent 6-0, 6-0.
Lehman also picked up a win at third doubles as Rosario and Leslie Juanacio bested their opponents 8-4.
WIth the loss the Lightning end the regular season with a 4-8 mark. Bard improves to 5-3.
Lehman has secured the fifth spot in the upcoming CUNYAC Championship slated to begin on Sunday when the Lightning will take on fourth seed Baruch. Earlier this season the Lightning fell to the Bearcats 5-4. A time and place for the first round match will be announced later in the week.
