Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman women's volleyball team lost a pair of CUNYAC matches to visiting Baruch and John Jay, 3-2 and 3-1, respectively, on Monday at The APEX Main Gym.
The Lightning, who fall to 4-14 and 1-6 in CUNYAC, took Baruch to five sets (22-5, 25-20, 25-15, 21-25, 15-7) in their first match. OH/M –
Eriadna Vasquez had 19 kills and 13 digs for Lehman, while MB –

Samantha Delgado dished out season-high 38 assists. OH –
Paulette Sepulveda also grabbed a season-high 23 digs in the loss to the Bearcats (6-14, 3-3 CUNYAC).
In the nightcap, the Lightning were beaten by John Jay (25-14, 25-13, 19-25, 25-13). Vasquez once again led Lehman's attack with 11 kills, while Delgado had 26 assists. Vernon added nine kills, 11 digs and four blocks for the Lightning against the Bloodhounds (9-6, 4-3 CUNYAC).
Lehman returns to action on Thursday when it takes on hosts U.S. Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y. at 7 pm.
