Galloway, N.J. – The Lehman College women's basketball team concluded its participation at the Stockton University Tip-Off Tournament losing 48-41 to Penn State-Abington in the consolation game on Saturday afternoon at The Sports Center.
The Lightning drop to 0-3 on the year, while the Nittany Lions improve to 2-1 this season.
After trailing by just a single point in the intermission, Lehman bounced back and had a 39-37 advantage at the end of the third quarter. However, Penn State-Abington went on an 11 to 2 run in the final period for the victory.
Guard
Lisa Fields paced the Lightning with 18 points and nine rebounds, while forward
Eriadna Vasquez had her first career double-double with 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Lehman next encounter will be at The APEX Main Gym when it hosts its home opener on November 27
th against Union College.
