Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its home opener to Union College 57-9 at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday evening. The Lightning fall to 0-4, while the Dutchwomen improve to 2-1.
"We had a great defensive effort in the first two quarters against Union, however we just couldn't find our scoring touch in the first half," said Lehman head coach
Eric Harrison.
Forward
Eriadna Vasquez scored four points and grabbed three rebounds for the Lightning, while guard
Lisa Fields added three points with five boards and three steals.
Lehman commence CUNYAC play on Saturday when it travels to take on John Jay College at 1 pm.
