Men’s Basketball Fall To John Jay

New York, N.Y. – Lehman College men's basketball team's five-game winning streak against John Jay College came to an end on Saturday afternoon as it lost an 83-65 CUNYAC encounter at The Doghouse. The Lightning dropped to 2-3 overall ledger and 0-1 in CUNYAC, while the Bloodhounds improve to 4-1 record and 1-0 in conference play.

Lehman had the lead (11-10) in 17:13 mark of first half, but John Jay went on 39 to 17 run to take a 21-point advantage at the intermission and never trailed after that.

Forward Isaiah Geathers paced the Lightning's offense scoring 17 points while grabbing six rebounds and five steals.  Guard Will Feldman notched a Lehman-best 13 points, while guard Jaquan Strong added 12 points.

The Lightning continue CUNYAC play when they host Medgar Evers College at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday (December 4th).
