Miguel Haboosh the Lehman College (4-5) men's basketball team dropped an 85-82 decision to Stevenson (9-2).
The Lightning was ahead by as many as eight points on two occasions early in the second half but could not hold on. Lehman was leading by four, 78-74 with 4:13 to play after a
Fred Truss 3-pointer. However, the Mustangs outscored the Lightning 11-4 the rest of the way to secure the victory.
Lehman has a good night shooting the ball converting 30-60 (.500) from the field and 10-21 (.476) from behind the arc. The Lightning were out-rebounded 41-28
Stevenson was led by Montague Wright and Mark Terrell. Wright scored 25 points while Terrell recorded a double double scoring 21 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
Lehman is back in action tomorrow afternoon at 3 PM and will face Old Westbury.
