Kings Point, N.Y. - The Lehman College women's track and field team competed against USMMA and CCNY in an outdoor meet hosted by USMMA on Long Island on Sunday.  The Lightning had several standout performances on the day.

Christina Hitchman notched a pair of podium finishes, placing third in high jump (1.35) and third in the 100 hurdles (20.16).  Natasha Mensah ran to a fourth-place finish in the 400 (1:06.84), while Karine Avila was sixth in shot put, throwing the ball 798 meters.

The Lehman College track and field team returns to action on Sunday, April 29, when they compete at the Highlander Invitational in New Jersey at 9AM.
