New York, NY – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to CUNYAC rival Hunter by scores of 25-8, 25-11, 25-7. The Lightning fall to 3-9 overall and 1-4 in the CUNYAC while the Hawks stand at 12-2:5-0.
Eriadna Vasquez paced Lehman with six kills and
Christina Lopez added a team high eight digs.
In the first set the Hawks jumped out to a 10-2 and never looked back en route to a 25-8 victory. Sets two and three were very similar as Hunter jumped out to an 11-2 lead in the second and an 18-6 lead in the third cruising to victory.
Kayshawna Richardson and Isaabelle Lawrence led the Hawks with seven kills apiece.
The loss leaves the Lightning riding a five match skid. Lehman looks to right the ship on Saturday as they travel to Purchase.
