Bronx, N.Y. - Lehman College women's soccer team will have its first road contest of the season on Thursday evening when it travels to face Maritime College at Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, N.Y.  Kickoff is set for 7:30 pm and fans can follow all of the action on line via live stats and live stream.








Lightning are coming off a scoreless draw last week against Rutgers-Newark in its season opener at home.  Sophomore goalkeeper Rebecca Gritz shined for the Lightning as she had a career-best 11 saves to earn a complete game shutout against the NJAC opponent.   Gritz performance also earned her CUNYAC Player of Week and Lehman's Student-Athlete of the Week accolades.

Meanwhile, Maritime of Skyline Conference, begins its women's soccer campaign against Lehman on Thursday.  The game is also a re-match of last year's encounter, which took place on the same date and venue, when both teams played to a 0-0 tie after regulation and two overtime periods.  The Lightning will also be looking for its first win at Maritime since 2015.
