Bronx, NY - Weather permitting the Lehman College women's tennis team will begin their season in earnest later today as they play host to Ramapo College on the APEX Courts beginning at 4 pm.

Rookie Head Coach Greg Leonarczyk will lead a squad that includes six returning players.  Leading the way for the Lightning will be junior Lizaveta Markouskaya.  Playing primarily at number two a year ago, the Marble Hill graduate is predicted to move up to the number spot.  Last season she was named a CUNYAC All Star and finished with a 10-5 record in singles and a 12-4 mark in doubles. 

This is also the first match of the season for the Rampao Roadrunners.
