Bronx, NY - The women's volleyball and tennis teams begin conference play while the men's soccer team travels to upstate New York to participate in a weekend tournament at SUNY New Paltz. 

Volleyball returns to the Nat Holman Gymnasium on the campus of City College to face the Beavers and Dolphins of Staten Island in the first CUNYAC Tri-Match of the year.  The Lightning opened the season in Nat Holman defeating Yeshiva in straight sets.  Today they will battle Staten Island at 9 AM and the host CCNY at 1 PM.  All three teams enter the day with identical 2-2 records.

The tennis team will be back in action on the APEX Courts as they face Hunter in the first conference match of the season for both teams.  The Hawks began their season earlier this week falling to St. Joseph's - LI 6-3.  First serve is scheduled for 12 PM.
 
The men's soccer team is looking to rebound from their first loss of the season as they travel to New Paltz to face Bard on Saturday and New Paltz on Sunday.  Both games kick-off at 3 PM.  Lehman (1-1)

Bard enters the weekend with a mark of 2-1.  The Raptors opened the season with a pair of victories over SUNY Cobleskill (3-0) and SUNY Canton (2-1 OT) before falling to Mount Saint Mary College 1-0. New Paltz is off to a face start as the Hawks have won their first three contests outscoring their opponents 11-5 with victories over Skidmore, Union and Albertus Magnus.
