Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming/diving teams continue its CUNYAC Dual Meets in 2019 as they visit Baruch College at Arc Aquatic Center in Manhattan on Thursday at 6 pm.

The Lightning men have a 4-3 overall record and 1-1 in CUNYAC, while the Bearcats are defeated with 6-0 ledger and 2-0 in conference play.
Lehman ended last year with a 102-88 home victory against conference rival Brooklyn College at The APEX Swimming Pool on December 11, 2018.
Christopher Fischer led the Lightning winning 200 freestyle with a time of 1:58.59 and the 100 freestyle clocking in at 53.20.
Hugo Barrera prevailed in the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:55.03. Fischer and Barrera teamed up with
Anton Kyrylenko and
Rinaldi Hernandez to capture the 200 freestyle relay clocking in at 1:41.84.
The Bearcats are coming off a CUNYAC Dual Meet sweep against hosts Brooklyn Bulldogs (130-63 men; 138-58 women) last Tuesday at West Quad Center Pool.
Lehman has lost eight of the previous 11 dual meets against Baruch with the last encounter taking place on January 11, 2018, at The APEX with the visitors coming away with a 126-87 victory. Fischer won the 200 freestyle (1.56.48) for the Lightning, while Kyrylenko claimed the 100 breaststroke (1:06.04).
The last time Lightning men defeated the Bearcats was on Jan. 14, 2016, 134-103 result at The APEX.
Lehman women's team enters Thursday's meet with a 4-5 mark and 1-2 in conference play, while Baruch has a 7-2 record and 3-0 in CUNYAC play.
The Lightning also concluded 2018 with a CUNYAC home win (105-93) against Brooklyn.
Sarina Eshtiaghi prevailed in the 200 freestyle (2:19.57), while also capturing the 200 Individual Medley (2:27.62). In her third event of the night she also claimed victory in the 500 freestyle in a time of 6:14.06.
Lehman has lost 11 consecutive dual meets against Baruch since 2008. The last encounter was held at The APEX on Jan. 11, 2018, with the Bearcats prevailing 120-79.
Christina Hitchman captured 100 breaststroke at a time of 1.34.52, while
Sheila Davila was member of winning 200 relay team that clocked in at 2:29.64.
