Game Recap: Women's Basketball |

Lightning Fall to CCNY

Bronx, NY – The Lehman College (1-15:1-7) women's basketball team fell to CCNY (9-7:5-3) 77-24 in conference game played in the APEX. 

Lehman's offensive woes continued as the Lightning were only able to muster 24 points, their second lowest of the season. 

The Lightning went scoreless for nearly seven minutes in the first quarter and nearly five minutes in the quarter to fall behind 23-9 after one and 47-13 at the half.  Things didn't get any better for Lehman as they were outscored 30-11 in the final 11 minutes.

Eriadna "Rachel" Vasquez paced the Lightning with 13 points. 

The Beavers snapped a ten game skid against the Lightning.  Crystal Blair and Ashley Brooks led the Beavers with 17 and 14 points respectively. 

The Lightning return to action on Saturday as they host John Jay at noon.
