The Lightning shot 52% from the field (29-56) but got out-rebounded 56-35 dropping a 90-83 decision to Medgar Evers in a key CUNYAC contest.  

Lehman had four players tally double figures led by Isaiah Geathers 27 points. Miguel Haboosh added 15 while Tommy Batista and Andre Hampton netted 13 and 11 points respectively.  For Batista it was a career high.

The first half was a back and forth affair with each team owning the lead.  MEC led by eight at one point and the Lightning had a five point led after a Batista three-pointer with eight minutes to play in the half.  

Trailing 50-46 at intermission, the Lightning quickly tied the game at 50 after two possessions.  After Geathers made a pair of free throws with 2:39 remaining the game was tied (80-80) once again.  The Cougars were able to run off seven straight points over the next two minutes to take control. Batista answered with a three, his third of the night to cut the deficit to four but the Lightning could not get any closer.  

Justin Sutton paced Medgar Evers with 27 points.  With the victory the Cougars now stand 7-11:6-4. Lehman falls to 6-11:4-6.

Lehman is back in action on Friday night as they host York at 7 PM.
