New York, N.Y. – A four-game losing streak ended on Monday evening for Lehman College men's basketball team as it defeated hosts Hunter College, 81-69, in CUNYAC encounter held at Hunter Sportsplex. The Lightning improve to 5-7 overall record and 3-2 in CUNYAC, while the Hawks drop to 3-10 mark and 1-5 in conference play.
Lehman led since the opening tip-off and jumped to a 24-9 advantage midway through the first half. Hunter battled back and cut the lead to five points at the intermission.
However, in the second half, the Lightning shot 54 percent from the field and limited the Hawks to 32% to pull away and give Lehman its 10
th consecutive victory over Hunter.

Isaiah Geathers had his fourth double-double of the season with the Lightning with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Forward
Miguel Haboosh added 19 points with six boards, while guard
Will Feldman had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists for Lehman.
The Lightning continue CUNYAC action on Wednesday at 7 pm when they welcome the College of Staten Island Dolphins at The APEX Main Gym.
