Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its eighth consecutive game as it fell 74-34 to visiting College of Staten Island (CSI) in CUNYAC encounter held at The APEX Main Gym on Wednesday evening. The Lightning go to 1-13 overall and 1-5 in CUNYAC, while the Dolphins improve to 12-4 ledger and 6-1 in conference play.
Playing without its guard and leading scorer
Lisa Fields, due to injury, for a second consecutive game, Lehman held its own against CSI and only trailed by six points at the end of the first quarter.
The Dolphins then went on a 27 to 7 run in the second period to take a 43-17 halftime advantage and eventually pulled away for its five consecutive victory against the Lightning.

Eriadna Vasquez scored a Lehman-high 17 points while grabbing 14 rebounds. Guard
Adeeba Cheema added seven points for the Lightning, while forward
Khadijah Sangare had career-high 11 rebounds with four points and center
Chayenne McPherson scored four points while grabbing eight boards.
Lehman continues CUNYAC action on Saturday when it travels to Manhattan to take on Baruch College at 1 pm.
