Brooklyn, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's tennis team ended its six-match losing streak with a 6-3 victory over visiting Brooklyn College, in CUNYAC play, during senior day at The APEX Courts on Saturday.
The Lightning improve to 5-6 overall record and 1-3 in CUNYAC action, while the Bulldogs drop to 1-7 mark and 0-4 in conference play.
Lehman opened taking two of the three doubles matches with pairs of

Cien Estuye and
Leslie Juanacio/
Joanna Rosario defeating their Brooklyn opponents, 8-3 and 8-2, respectively.
Estuye, Figueroa, Juanacio and Rosario were also victorious in their respective singles encounters over the Bulldogs.
Saturday's match also bid farewell to Estuye, Juanacio and
Lizaveta Markouskaya, whom all played their last home regular season matches with Lehman uniform.
The Lightning are back in action on Thursday (October 10
th) when they travel to take on former CUNYAC rival, College of Staten Island.
