Mahwah, NJ – The Lehman College women's volleyball team fell to host Ramapo and Merchant Marine Academy by the identical score of 3-0 to fall to 4-24 on the season.

In the opener against USMMA, the Mariners prevailed 25-10, 25-18 and 25-17.  Ariana Pradieu led the Lightning attack with five kills, 14 digs and a pair of service aces.  Heder Rodriguez was credited with 17 assists.  In the nightcap against the Roadrunners, the Lightning fell by scores of 25-7, 25-11 and 25-13.  Franchesca Acevedo led Lehman with six kills.  Pradieu was credited with four service aces and Rodriguez with 11 assists.  Yari Peguero led the way with 15 digs. 

On Tuesday night the Lightning will travel to Brooklyn College to battle the Bulldogs in the first round of the CUNYAC play-offs.
