Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped its home opener, 82-42, to non-conference opponent Ramapo College on Saturday afternoon at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning fall to 0-5 this season, while the Roadrunners remaining undefeated with a 7-0 mark.
Lehman jumped out to an 8-2 lead midway through the first quarter, however Ramapo went on a 22 to 11 run to take a five point advantage heading into the second period. Afterwards, the Roadrunners held the Lightning to just 11 points in the next two quarters and only 12 in the fourth period for the while shooting 58 percent from the field for the victory.

Nina Gill scored 13 points for Lehman, while guard
Shanya Gonzalez had 10 points with four steals and forward
Eriadna Vasquez added eight points with seven rebounds and four assists in the loss.
The Lightning are back in action next Tuesday when they commence CUNYAC play at home against John Jay College at 5 pm.
