Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming/diving teams will host former CUNYAC member College of Staten Island (CSI) in a dual meet at The APEX Pool on Thursday starting at 6 pm.
The Lightning are coming off a dual meet split at home against non-conference Maritime College on Tuesday, with the men's squad (2-2) losing 153-63, while the women side (3-2) won 98-95.
Meanwhile, Dolphins of CSI was swept by visiting Baruch College last Friday with the men's team (3-1) fell 119-108 and the women's squad (3-2) lost 111-101.
CSI men have a 16-4 head-to-head record against Lehman since 2000. The last meeting between the two sides took place on December 7, 2018, with hosts Dolphins winning 122-96.
Anton Kyrylenko was highlight for the Lightning taking first at the 200 IM at a time of 2:17.19.
The CSI women have won 19 of 21 head-to-head encounters against Lehman since 2000. The previous match-up was held on Dec. 7
th of last year with Dolphins coming away with a 117-74 victory.
Sarina Eshtiaghi claimed first in the 100 backstroke (1:08.07), 200 IM (2:30.84) and 1000 freestyle (12:18.03) for the Lightning.
