Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team fell 58-40 to visiting St. Mary's College-Md in a non-conference match-up on Saturday at The APEX Main Gym. The Lightning drop to 0-8 record, while the Seahawks improve to 1-6 mark.
St. Mary's jumped out to a 13-3 lead heading into the second quarter and never trailed since then.

Nina Gill notched a career-high 21 points for Lehman, while grabbing eight rebounds and six steals. Guard
Shanya Gonzalez had eight points with five steals and teammate
Fatomata Trawalleh added six points and three assists.
The Lightning will have two weeks off before they are back in action just before the New Year as they take on St. Joseph's College-LI in the opening game of the annual CUNY Coaches vs. Cancer tournament on December 28
th at The APEX Main Gym.
