Bronx, NY - The Lehman College (6-18:5-10) men's basketball team fell to league leader Baruch (19-5:13-2) 68-58 in the final regular season home game for the Lightning.
Andre Hampton paced the Lightning with a career high 25 points. He also grabbed a team high 10 rebounds to record his seventh double double of the season.
For the second straight game the Lightning struggled shooting the ball in the first half. Lehman converted only nine of 32 attempts and found themselves down 29-20 in a defensive battle at halftime. In the second half Lehman trailed by as many as 13 points, 38-25 with 15 minutes to play. However, the Lightning battled back and cut the lead to one, 48-47 after
Andre Hampton drained a pair of free throws with 7:49 to play. However, a 12-0 over the next three and a half minutes was something the Lightning could not overcome.
Lehman concludes the regular season on Wednesday night as they travel to CCNY for a match-up with the Beavers at 7 PM.
