Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team posted its first home victory of the season after topping Sarah Lawrence College in three straight sets (25-18, 25-21, 25-23) in a non-conference affair at The APEX Main Gym on Thursday. 

The Lightning improve to a 2-5 record, while Gryphons drop to 0-1 mark.

Lehman serviced a total of 15 aces against Sarah Lawrence during the match as outside hitter Will Eschenbach and setter George Montilla each led the hosts with four apiece.  Eschenbach also had eight kills and six digs, while middle hitter Kris Rodriguez added seven kills, three aces and three blocks.   Montilla also dished out 17 assists with five digs and three kills for the Lightning.

Lehman will be back at The APEX next Monday (February 18^th) as it hosts a CUNYAC Tri-Match against Baruch and John Jay with the first encounter set for 10 am.
