Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's volleyball team fell in three consecutive sets (25-23, 25-14, 26-24) to CUNYAC rival Medgar Evers College at The APEX Main Gym on Tuesday.
The Lightning drop to 3-10 mark and 0-3 in CUNYAC, while the Cougars remain unbeaten at 10-0 with 3-0 ledger in conference play.
After dropping the first two sets, Lehman looked to extend the match in the third game with a 24-19 lead. However, Medgar Evers scored eight consecutive points to claim the match.
Outside hitter
Will Eschenbach led the Lightning with seven kills and 15 digs, while middle hitter
Kristopher Rodriguez had six kills with two aces and setter
George Montilla dished out 15 assists along with four digs.
Lehman is back in action next Tuesday (March 12
th) when it visits Brooklyn College in a non-conference affair at 7 pm.
