Purchase, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's baseball team fell 19-6 to hosts Manhattanville College in a non-conference encounter on Tuesday at Manhattanville Field.
The Lightning drop to 7-20 overall record on the season, while the Valiants improve to 16-13 mark.
Lehman jumped out to a 5-1 lead after designated hitter
Jeremmy Santos hit a three-run homer in the top of second inning. However, the Lightning bats went cold as the pitching suffered surrendering 16 runs in the next five innings as the Valiants pulled away for the victory.
Lehman returns to CUNYAC action on Friday as it welcomes John Jay College in a twin-bill at South Field starting at noon.
