Bronx, N.Y. – After sweeping a twin-bill 24 hours ago, the Lehman College baseball team's winning streak came to an end on Saturday when it dropped an 11-4 decision to hosts John Jay College in a CUNYAC encounter at Fordham University.
The Lightning fall to 9-21 record and 3-6 in CUNYAC, while the Bloodhounds improve to 11-23 overall mark and 3-6 in conference play.
After Lehman tied the game 2-2 in the top of fourth, John Jay scored three runs in the bottom half to re-gain the lead and then added runs in the next four innings to pull away for the victory.

Namir Garcia paced the Lehman's offense going 3-for-4 with a run scored, while infielder
Henry Gonzalez went 3-for-3 from the plate.
The Lightning return to action on Monday when they host a non-conference doubleheader at South Field against College at Old Westbury starting at 3 pm.
