Kings Point, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team fell in three straight sets (6-25, 9-25, 7-25) to hosts U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA) in a non-conference match-up at Liebertz Gymnasium, to commence 2019 campaign, on Friday evening.

Ariana Pradieu sparked the Lightning with four digs, while Franchesca Acevedo added three digs and Heder Rodriguez grabbed a pair of digs along with two assists.

Lehman will have its home opener on Saturday when it takes on non-conference opponent College of Mount St. Vincent at The APEX Main Gym at 1 pm.
