Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's volleyball team dropped its home opener to College of Mount St. Vincent in three straight sets (10-25, 11-25, 3-25) on Saturday afternoon at The APEX Main Gym.
The Lightning fall to 0-2 record this season, while the Dolphins improve to 1-0 mark.
Mount St. Vincent dominated this non-conference match posting team total of 24 kills with 22 service aces against Lehman.
The Lightning were led by
Franchesca Acevedo and
Maria Garcia with each hitting a pair of kills, while
Heder Rodriguez dished out five assists and four digs.
Lehman continues its home stand on Wednesday when it hosts a tri-match against non-conference opponents' Old Westbury and Yeshiva at 6 pm and 8 pm, respectively.
