Box Score Salisbury, Md. – The Lehman College women's soccer team opened 2019 campaign at Salisbury University Classic with a 5-1 loss to Methodist University at Sea Gull Soccer Stadium on Saturday afternoon.  The Lightning go to 0-1 record, while the Monarchs improve to 1-1 mark.
 
Methodist jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 38 minutes of the game with tallies from forwards Laura Harris, Anna Rose Sink, Kiley Way and midfielder Aiden Sherry. 
 
Lightning midfielder Miriam Hernandez notched her first collegiate goal off a free kick from defender Anida Lulanaj to make it 4-1 just before halftime.
 
Defender Grace Page closed out the scoring for the Monarchs off a free kick in the 65^th minute-mark for the 5-1 final.
 
Lehman concludes its participation at Salisbury Classic on Sunday when it takes on hosts at 4 pm.
