Bronx, N.Y. – Three Lehman College athletic women's squads will be in action on Saturday afternoon as soccer and tennis teams will be on the road, while volleyball side has its home opener.
The tennis team, under new head coach
Michal Bareket-Bloom, begin its campaign when it travels to New Haven, Conn. to take on Albertus Magnus College in a non-conference match-up at 1 pm.
The last meeting between the Lightning-Falcons was on September 2, 2017 with the visitors winning 7-2 at the APEX Tennis Courts.
Also on Saturday, the volleyball team (0-1) hosts College of Mount St. Vincent (0-0) in a non-conference affair at 1 pm in The APEX Main Gym.

The Lightning have won two of the previous three encounters against the Dolphins. However, in the last meeting at The APEX, Mount St. Vincent won in three straight sets (25-23, 25-23, 25-17).
Rounding out Saturday's encounters will be soccer team, under sixth-year coach
Casey Melilli, compete at the Salisbury University Classic in Salisbury, Md. The Lightning will take on Methodist University in their opening match of the event at 2 pm.
