Bronx, N.Y. – Three Lehman College athletic teams will see action on Sunday as women's soccer side hosts non-conference rival New Jersey City University (NJCU), while men's and women's cross country squads compete at Queensborough Community College Invitational.
The Lightning women's soccer (0-6) are looking for their first victory of the season as they take on the Knights (4-2) at South Field with kickoff set for 11 am.

Lehman and NJCU have faced off twice since 2015 with each team winning one. The last meeting between the two took place on September 17, 2018, with Knights winning 3-2 in overtime against visiting Lightning at Jersey City's Robert L. McNulty Field.
Valeria Rojas Alingue and
Melanie Siranaula had the only tallies for Lehman in the loss.
Also on Sunday, the Lightning cross country squads are at Van Cortlandt Park for their eighth consecutive appearance at the Queensborough Invitational.
The last time Lehman took part at the event was on Sept. 16, 2018, when the men finished seventh, while the women's side took 17
th place. Leading the way for the men was
Max Dell-Thibodeau as he placed ninth overall completing the 8000 meter course in 30:10.1. Meanwhile,
Glory Odeh was Lehman's top female finisher as she completed the 5000 meter course in 23:17.8 to finish 25th overall.
