Bronx, NY – The Lehman College women's tennis squad dropped a hard fought 6-3 decision to Farmingdale.  Both teams are now 4-1.

Lehman got on the board at first doubles as Lizaveta Markouskaya and Diwa Rana defeated their opponent 8-7(7-5).  However, the Rams held a 2-1 after the doubles competition as they won the matches at second and third doubles.  By the time Markouskaya won her match at first singles, 6-3, 7-6 (7-5), the Rams captured second third and fifth singles.  Farmingdale also took the point at fourth singles.  However, the Lightning were able to prevail in the sixth spot as Cien Estuye defeated her opponent 6-7, 6-3, 10-3. 

Lehman is back in action on Wednesday afternoon as they travel to Mahwah, NJ to battle Ramapo College.  First serve is scheduled for 4 PM.
