Box Score Mahwah, NJ - The Lehman College women's tennis team dropped a hard fought 6-3 decision to Ramapo in Mahwah, NJ earlier this afternoon. The setback leaves the Lightning with a 4-2 overall record. Ramapo stands at 2-3.
The Roadrunners took all three doubles matches to start the match. The third doubles pairing of
Joanna Rosario and
Leslie Juanacio was the most competitive. The duo fell 8-7; 7-1 in the tie-breaker. In singles play Lehman picked up points in the number one hole as Lizavetta Markouskaya prevailed 4-6, 7-5, 10-8.
Diwa Rana was victorious as the number two with a 2-6, 6-4, retired result.
Cien Estuye won at sixth singles by the score of 4-6, 7-5, 10-6.
Lehman returns to action Saturday as they open up CUNYAC play hosting Baruch at Noon on the APEX Courts.
