Box Score Bronx, NY - The Lehman College (4-5:0-3) women's tennis team fell 6-3 to Hunter College (5-1:3-0) in a key CUNYAC match for both teams.

Lehman jumped out to a 2-1 lead after the doubles matches.  After dropping the contest at second doubles, the duo of Lizavetta Makouskaya and Diwa Rana captured their first doubles match 8-4.  At third doubles Lehman's Joanna Rosario and Leslie Juanacio prevailed 8-5 giving the Lightning a 2-1 heading into the singles matches.  However, Markouskaya was the only Lehman player to win singles.   Playing out the first spot the senior and native of Minsk earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory.  The Lightning were unable to capture any other singles match but did extend three matches to three sets.  

Lehman returns to action Tuesday afternoon as they travel to Madison, NJ to face FDU.
