Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's soccer team will aim to stay undefeated in CUNYAC as it hosts Medgar Evers College on Monday at South Field with kickoff set for 6 pm.

The Lightning (2-6; 2-0 CUNYAC) are coming off a 2-1 conference victory, at home, against CCNY on Wednesday at South Field.  Midfielder Melanie Huerta and defender Micaela Canapa scored for Lehman. 

Meanwhile, the Cougars (0-7; 0-1 CUNYAC) lost to visiting University of Valley Forge, 9-0, at Brooklyn's Aviator Sports Complex on Saturday.

Lehman has won seven consecutive games against Medgar Evers since 2012.  The last time both squads squared off was on September 19, 2018, as the Lightning posted an 8-0 road victory.  Canapa and midfielder Melanie Siranaula were among the scorers for Lehman, while goalkeeper Rebecca Gritz earned the shut out.
