Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team dropped an 82-58 CUNYAC encounter to visiting Hunter College at The APEX Main Gym on Friday. The Lightning fall to 1-13 overall record and 1-4 in CUNYAC, while the Hawks improve to 8-6 mark and 4-1 in conference play.
Lehman jumped out to an 8-7 lead three minutes into the first quarter, however Hunter went a 21 to 2 run to close out the period and never trailed since. The Hawks shot 52 percent from the field and 75 % from the free throw line.

Nina Gill was one of three Lightning players in double-figures as she notched 26 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for also her fifth 'double-double' of the season. Guard
Shanya Gonzalez added 14 points with seven boards for Lehman, while forward
Eriadna Vasquez had 11 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
The Lightning are back in action next Wednesday (January 15
th) when they travel to take on former CUNYAC rival College of Staten Island.
