Staten Island, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball team fell on the road 98-44 to former CUNYAC member College of Staten Island (CSI) at the Sports & Recreation Center on Wednesday. The Lightning drop to a 1-14 record, while the Dolphins improve to 7-8.

Eriadna Vasquez hit a jumper to give Lehman an early 2-0 lead, CSI went on a 28 to 7 run to close out the first quarter and never trailed since. The Dolphins led by as many as 54 points while shooting 51 percent from the field including 57 % from three-point range.

Nina Gill paced the Lightning offense with her sixth 'double-double' of the season scoring 23 points, while grabbing 11 rebounds. Vasquez also added 10 points and six boards for Lehman before fouling out with eight minutes remaining.
The Lightning are back in action on Friday when they hosts Baruch College in a CUNYAC match-up at 5:30 pm.
