Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming/diving teams will travel to take on William Paterson University in non-conference dual match set for 1 pm at the Wightman Pool in Wayne, N.J.
The Lightning men (2-4) are coming off a 159-57 home lost against CUNYAC rival Baruch College his past Wednesday at The APEX Pool. Meanwhile the Lehman women (3-4) also dropped a meet (97-83) against Baruch on Wednesday.
The Pioneers return to the U.S. after concluding a seven-day winter training trip in Aruba. The men's side holds a 5-4 record, while the women's squad has a 9-1 ledger.
The Lightning men last met William Paterson on January 12, 2019 at The APEX with the Pioneers winning 113-77.
Anton Kyrylenko captured the 100 breaststroke (1:06.09) and was part of the winning 200 medley relay team (1:53.20) along-side
Christopher Fischer,
Daniel O'Neill and
Ryan Sanchez.
Lehman women's previous dual meet against William Paterson also took place on Jan. 12, 2019, with the Pioneers posting 97-52 victory.
Sarina Eshtiaghi claimed first-place in the 200 freestyle (2:14.62) and 100 backstroke (1:03.59), while Citalli Cureno,
Sheila Davila,
Patricia Gonzalez and
Christina Hitchman were on the winning 200 freestyle relay team clocking in at 2:14.83.
