Wayne, NJ - Lehman and William Paterson met in the Wightman Pool on the New Jersey campus with the Pioneers defeating the Lightning in both the women's and men's meet.  The William Paterson men came out on top 111-94 and the women 104-86. 

Highlights from the meet include:

• Esgardo Castelan captured the 1 meter and 3 meter competition with scores of 131.10 and 102.55 respectively.
• Sarina Eshtiaghi won the 100 yard freestyle in a time of 58.67.  She was the only competitor to go under one minute.
• Claudia Guererro was victorious in the women's 500 yard freestyle while Chris Ramirez won the men's 500.
• Patricia Gonzalez won the 100 yard breast stroke.  Anton Kyrylenko captured the 100 yard breast stroke in a time of 1:07.42.
• The women's 200 yard freestyle relay squad of Elizabeth DelaCruz, Genesis Ramos, Jayleen Maldonado and Asher Olivia prevailed as did the men's 200 yard freestyle relay quartet of Chris Ramirez, Cesar Zuniga, Daniel O'Neill and Castelan.

 
The Lightning swimmers return to the pool on Tuesday as they travel to Queens to face the York Cardinals.
