Lightning Swimmers Travel To Take On Brooklyn In Regular Season Finale

Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College men's and women's swimming/diving teams will conclude its regular season on Tuesday as they travel to take on hosts Brooklyn College in a CUNYAC dual meet set for 6 pm at West Quad Pool.

The Lightning men (3-5; 1-1 CUNYAC) are coming off a 111-71 conference win at York College-NY last week, while the Lehman women (5-5; 2-2 CUNYAC) was also victorious at Jamaica, N.Y. against hosts posting a 120-57 result.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn men's side (5-1; 1-1 CUNYAC) lost a meet, 118-106, on the road, to former conference member, College of Staten Island (CSI) last week.  Meanwhile, the Brooklyn women's squad (2-6; 1-3 CUNYAC) also dropped a 139-51 decision at CSI.

The Lightning men have won nine consecutive meets against the Bulldogs since 2010.  The last encounter between the two sides took place on December 11, 2018, at The APEX Pool with hosts winning 102-88.

The Lightning women hold a 6-1 head-to-head record against the Bulldogs since 2010, which includes winning four of the last five dual meets.  The previous encounter between the two squad was also held on Dec. 11, 2018, with Lehman defeating Brooklyn, 105-93.
