Bronx, N.Y. – The Lehman College women's basketball fell by a score of 87-56 to visiting Kean University in a non-conference encounter at The APEX Main Gym on Friday. The Lightning drop to a 0-11 record, while the Cougars improve to 9-3 on the season.
Lehman held strong in the first half against however trailed 48-30 at the intermission. By the third quarter the Cougars slowly began to pull away from the Lightning and led by as many as 31 points as the visitors got 32 points from its bench, while outscoring the hosts in the paint 24 to 4.

Nina Gill paced Lehman scoring a career-high 31 points, while grabbing seven rebounds. Guard
Fatomata Trawalleh added 13 points for the Lightning, while forward
Eriadna Vasquez had her second 'double-double' of the season with 10 points and 11 boards.
Lehman is back in action on Saturday when it travels to Brooklyn for a CUNYAC match-up against Medgar Evers College at 1 pm.
