Lightning Fall at Brooklyn

 
Brooklyn, NY – The Lehman College women's basketball team suffered a 90-39 loss at Brooklyn College earlier tonight.  With the loss the Lightning fall to 1-12:1-3 while the Bulldogs improve to 8-4:3-0.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 22-3 lead after the first quarter and never looked back.  Nina Gill paced the Lightning with 20 points, six rebounds and five steals.  Fatomata Trawalleh added 10 points.  Rachel Vasquez and Valeria Rojas were credited with a team high eight rebounds apiece. 
 
The Lightning struggled shooting the ball converting only 12 of 63 attempts (19%). 
 
Lehman returns to action on Friday at 5 PM when the Lightning will host the Hawks of Hunter College.
