Immaculata, PA – The Lehman College men's volleyball team suffered a straight set loss (25-17, 25-18, 25-13) to Immaculata College (1-2) giving the Mighty Macs their first victory of the season.
Lehman was led by Devon Webb's five kills.
Mentor Mahmuti added a team high eight assists to go along with four kills
Christian Agudo recorded 16 digs.
In the first set the Mighty Macs jumped out to a 12-5 lead. The Lightning battled back to cut the lead to 17-13. However, Immaculata would score the next seven points to take control of the set. In the second set with the score knotted at 10, the Mighty Macs went on an 11-2 run to take control stretching their lead to 2-0. Immaculata would close out the match in the third winning 25-13.
The Lightning return to action on Thursday night as they host the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College in a non-league match at 7 PM.
