Lightning Falter in CUNYAC Opener

New York, NY – The Lehman College men's volleyball team opened the CUNYAC portion of their schedule this afternoon at the CUNYAC Tri-Match hosted by John Jay.
 
Lehman (4-10:0-2) dropped the first match against Baruch in straight sets falling 25-10, 25-11 and 25-10 to the Bearcats.  Mentor Mahmuti led the Lightning with a pair of kills and six digs.  In the nightcap against the host Bloodhounds, Lehman also lost in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-21 and 25-14.  Peter Veljovic led the way for Lehman with three kills.  Dyvon Webb was credited with four blocks and Miguel Gonzalez registered six digs.
 
The Lightning return to action on Wednesday night back at the APEX.  The Lightning will host the Maccabees of Yeshiva University at 8 PM.
