Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Fort Myers, Fla. – The Lehman College softball team commenced its 2020 season dropping two encounters to Grove City College (25-0) and Finlandia University (24-2) at CenturyLink Sports Complex during 30^th Annual Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic on Thursday.

Infielder Brianna Valdez notched her first collegiate hit (single) for the Lightning in the opening loss to Grove City (2-5). 

In the defeat against Finlandia (2-9), outfielder Stephany Cruz went 3-for-3 with a run scored for Lehman, while teammate Xiomara Feliz-Urena went 2-for-3.  Infielders Tiffany Adames and Lisette Guerrero also added a hit each for the Lightning, while driving in an RBI.

Lehman continues its participation at the Gene Cusic Classic on Friday when it takes on Drew University at 9 am and then Clark University at 11 am.
